Buppy. is a 21-year old genre-blurring artist who captures the raw, unfiltered emotions of growing up in a world that never slows down. Growing up in a turbulent household, music wasn’t just an escape—it was a necessity. As his parents argued downstairs, he found solace drowning out the fights with melodies he pieced together on his laptop. Raised in constant financial and emotional uncertainty, he turned his observations of struggle, love, and survival into songs that cut deep with their honesty.

At the ripe age of 16, Buppy. made a bold move, leaving behind his hometown in Utah to chase a pipe dream in Los Angeles. Balancing late-night studio sessions with shifts at a restaurant on Fairfax, he poured everything into his music. In 2021, he caught his first big break with Violence, a genre-blurring single premiered by Wonderland, which introduced listeners to his deeply introspective and emotionally charged style.

In 2022, Buppy. made his mark as an independent artist with his debut EP, Cold Nights in Hollywood, which has since amassed over 5 million streams, solidifying his reputation as an artist to watch. His evolution continued in 2023 with his sophomore EP, names&places, which featured the standout single comfort, texas—a track that resonated widely, pulling in over 3 million streams. The project earned praise from Zane Lowe, who dubbed him "a superstar in the making," and received recognition from outlets like Lyrical Lemonade, Ones To Watch, and Earmilk. Editorial support quickly followed, with playlist placements on Apple’s New Music Daily, Breaking Pop, and Wildflower, as well as Spotify’s New Music Friday, Tear Drop, Anti Pop, New Pop Picks, and Varsity Bars.

In 2025, he took another major step forward, performing at Treefort Festival—a defining moment in his growing career.
